The Silicon Valley Bar Association, ("SVBA"), a California non-profit association, was founded in the Fall of 2000 by local attorneys who wanted quality legal education programs, with local emphasis and reasonable costs, accompanied with appropriate written materials. The SVBA has members from both the Santa Clara and San Mateo County Bars, and is looking to expand the areas of educational presentation to include at least five major areas of interest to lawyers in Silicon Valley

Estate Planning, Probate & Trust
Tax Law
Intellectual Property
Business Transactions
Real Property
Family Law

Interested members are invited to serve on substantive law Executive Committees to propose new topics and plan seminars with the help of the SVBA's outside professional organization consultant. New and renewing members are encouraged to list areas of interest on the Membership Application.

The Silicon Valley Bar Association is dedicated to presenting educational seminars for professionals on a variety of topics at a moderate cost and with full written materials. The SVBA is a member-run and member-focused non-profit professional association.
