Religious and Cultural Considerations in Estate Planning

End-of-life practices and traditions vary widely among different faiths and cultures. As estate planning practitioners in an increasingly diverse society, it is useful for us to be familiar with a range of these practices and traditions and understand that typical or statutory language often needs to be strengthened to incorporate our clients’ intent. So that we may better serve a broad clientele, this brown bag seminar will offer a panel discussion of estate planning considerations and offer advice on solid drafting practices for wills, trusts, and advance directives from a variety of backgrounds, including Muslim, Jewish, and Christian perspectives.

Confirmed Presenters:

Javed Ellahie, Esq.

Naomi Parker, Esq.

John M. Wunderling, Esq.
